A rare photo where I just smiled at the camera wit A rare photo where I just smiled at the camera without thinking about how IG worthy it would be. 🤪 It’s become common for me to take two sets of photos when I’m travelling -one staged one for the gram and one just for me that I’ll never show to the public. 🤫 Just like my photos used to be before the gram was even a thing “Say Cheese” 📸. Admittedly I’ve become a far better photographer since those good ole days, and so has Phil! But the funny thing is - the photos where you are staging a scene always perform better on IG than the real life I’m just gonna smile at the camera with an attraction behind me photos. The photos that actually showcase real life that we all so desperately want people to share online. These ones don’t perform well for me. It’s a conundrum indeed. I feel like I’m at a transition - I don’t post as much anymore (I’m not travelling so don’t have a huge amount of new content) and I’m spending far more time on TikTok (sorry IG 😂). As much as I love sharing my photos on here, it’s not what it used to be. I just wanna go back to the days of buying a disposable camera and getting excited by what the photos might look like. The anticipation and disappointment. But the best memories. Maybe turning a year older has made me nostalgic. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️
Birthdays spent at the Beach can’t be beat! Ye Birthdays spent at the Beach can’t be beat! Yesterday was my birthday and it felt so amazing to be by the ocean and out of lockdown. I’ve never been to this beach before and it blew me away. I find sand dunes incredibly picturesque and loved watching a local horse rider gallop across the beach and stride through the ocean. I bought a selection of cocktails to drink, had a French inspired picnic and followed it up with a sunset bbq at another beach nearby. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. I was asked to audition to be in The Hobbit Movie! 2. I once got taught to dance by Justin Biebers back up dancers and was in a dance video with them. 3. I was in a well known reality tv show Tell me which you think is true and what is false 😜 📸 is from Ponta da Piedade in Portugal. We arrived for sunrise when we were travelling in our campervan. So looking forward to coming back here! This is Ol So looking forward to coming back here! This is Old Harry Rocks in Dorset. My old stomping ground from where I grew up. There’s an awesome pub nearby called the Bankes Arms which overlooks the ocean and has the biggest and best beer garden I’ve ever been to. Only a few more weeks until that’s allowed! With the stay at home rules stopping today in England I’m really excited to spend more time outdoors. The weather also happens to be perfectly timed with a week of sunshine forecast! My birthday is on Thursday so I’m excited to get outside, go swimming (in my wetsuit) and have a picnic! Things are looking up!
London sunsets are so amazing with the city lights London sunsets are so amazing with the city lights 🇬🇧 A few nights ago I road tripped up to London for an appointment ( A 10 hour round trip for a 5 minute appointment 😅) and managed to catch sunset down by Tower Bridge. The view overlooking the Shard with the city lights was pretty epic. Life in London is so different to Cornwall. A bustling city with groups of friends drinking bottles of wine watching the sunset. I go for a sunset walk here and I’ll be more likely to see a wild horse or sheep than a human being 😂. Did you know that someone free climbed up the Shard in 45 minutes? Illegally and got sentenced to 6 months in Jail.
Road tripping the South of France - You HAVE to vi Road tripping the South of France - You HAVE to visit Verdon Gorge. Check out my must do’s: 🇫🇷 Verdon Gorge is the Grand Canyon of France, simply epic! Drive the long winding roads and stop at all the viewpoints along the way. The views are breathtaking. 🛶 Hire a pedalo or kayak and cruise the insane blue turquoise river. The colour is incredible! 🍦Stop in nearby Moustiers Sainte Marie, considered one of the prettiest villages in France and have a delicious lavender ice cream. ⛪️Walk up to the 12th-century Notre Dame de Beauvoir Chapel set in the cliff side and check the views out across the valley below.
