Save for a Cornwall Secret Spot! 🌊 My favourit Save for a Cornwall Secret Spot! 🌊 My favourite place to visit for a sunset picnic or solo swim is this place near where I live in Cornwall. This area is Whitsand Bay and the main beach is where most people travel to for a surf or to spend the day. But if you want to reach this spot and get it all to yourself then listen up! Drive along the coast for a couple of minutes and you will reach Sharrow Point. The drive alone is worth it and it follows the South West Coastal Path as it hugs the cliffs edge with breathtaking panoramic coastal views. Park up and walk down to the lifeguard hut. Perch here for this incredible view or climb down the precarious cliff steps to reach the beach. It’s a wet sand beach so bring something waterproof to sit on. The water is crystal clear, a beautiful turquoise colour and far more peaceful than the main beach. Tag a buddy you would bring here for a picnic and follow more Cornwall Secret Spots.

On yesterday’s stories I was getting to know all of your holiday likes and dislikes and it’s been so fun! I shared all of the awesome places you guys are travelling to this summer and it’s so exciting! But I think sometimes you just have to mix it all up - like this time we went to Venice and our flights only cost £5 each way, we stayed in a local boutique hotel and were in one of the most touristic hot spots in the world. We are hoping to get back to Italy later on in the year (Finale Ligure to be exact) and possibly Scotland. Not many countries are on our travel green list in the UK so we just have to patiently wait. So you get to visit off the beaten path locations like Cascade du Sautadet! This was a word of mouth recommendation, one that didn’t come from a guide book and it was incredible. Secret waterfalls, cliff jumping, floatie heaven and all round fun natural water “park”. A super popular place with locals and one of favourite memories from driving through southern France. 2. Road trips are my favourite way to travel and the best road trips include only a few hours drive in between locations and the South of France is perfect for this. Whether you want to see St Tropez, Cannes or Provence - the location of each destination couldn’t be more perfect meaning you can see so many incredible places in just one trip. 3. From mountain ranges deep in Provence to beautiful white sandy beaches in Canne, you will find something for everyone’s taste. Popular international airports like Nice make it the perfect starting point so all you need to do is grab your hire car and explore. This is your sign to visit Alberobello in Puglia, This is your sign to visit Alberobello in Puglia, Italy! Named as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996 due to the towns uniqueness, Alberobello is a wonder of magical mystery. The town is made up of Trullo, small stone houses with conical roofs. Each Trullo is painted with pagan symbols, and painted white for a sign of purity. There are Trulli spread out across the countryside in Puglia however Alberobello is the only place you can see so many in one place. The cave like insides are really cool in temperature and make a great place to stay in the area. From as little at €40 a night you can stay in one - which I highly recommend doing. It’s a unique experience and makes wonderful memories. Is Alberobello on your bucket list?

In my happy place 🥰 I feel so incredibly bless In my happy place 🥰 I feel so incredibly blessed to call Cornwall home. It’s been a favourite county of mine my entire life and it was a goal of mine to be able to finally say I live in Cornwall. When we came back from Canada in 2019 we had no idea that we would end up spending so much time here. We moved to Cornwall a month before the world went to mayhem and have been here ever since. The coastal environment and countryside has been a saving grace for me mentally. With the G7 summit in Cornwall right now it’s so important to remember how important our environment is. Today I’m listening to the incredible SEA7 Ocean Activist Training Camp being held online by @finisterreuk and @surfersagainstsewage. Already I’m so inspired and feeling reconnected to the ocean. If you didn’t know, I have a degree in Marine Sports Science and they cover topics that are so close to my heart but ones I don’t talk about enough on here. I’d like to change that.
