It has been a while since we last posted on Ever The Wanderer as we have been so busy settling in to life in Vancouver (more amazing insights into Vancouver to come).
With the weather becoming frostier and the beginning of the ski season it was only a matter of time before we headed up the hill.
Here in Vancouver there are 3 local ski hills- Cypress, Seymour and Grouse. On this occasion we headed up to Grouse Mountain to discover the opening weekend of the Peak of Christmas. Snow shoes, santa, skis and sunshine made this day one to remember. The views of Vancouver city from this point are incredible with mountains peeping out from the endless clouds dusting the sky at every angle. It is the first time in our lives where we have been lucky enough to encounter our two loves-the sea and snow in such close proximity-one of the reasons why Vancouver is so popular-a natural phenomenon!
