The grass is always greener underneath a coconut tree 🌴 For our final island hopping destination in Thailand we visited the lesser known Koh Mook and boy was it my favourite! “I promise to remember that neither one of us is perfect. But strive to remind myself of the ways that we are perfect for each other.” Phil and I have been married for almost 2 years and been together for almost 13!! We have spent a majority of our life together travelling the world. I am so thankful that we found each other and can experience this adventure together, but don’t get me wrong, It’s not all rainbows and puppies. There are days where we argue over silly stuff and need our own quiet time. But reading that quote I found on Pinterest (does everyone else just use Pinterest to find quotes?) which is actually someone’s wedding vow, I smile and realise how lucky we are. It’s a rare thing to be on the same page on almost everything, especially when travelling. I have travelled without Phil in the past and understand what it can be like to not experience a trip the way you may want, the sacrifices you make. It’s closer to Langkawi! If I could design my dream tiny beach home it would look a lot like this! In Koh Lipe we stayed @castawayresortkohlipe in their Beach Front Breezy Bungalow, and when I say beach front I mean beach front! It was a dream- going to sleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shore (who needs the Calm App when you have the real deal!) and swimming in the clearest turquoise water. They also have one of the funkiest beach cafes with awesome food and Happy Hour Cocktails.
